Ms. Abreu became a member of Local 237 in 2001.  A solid union member, Ms. Abreu is a Public Health Educator who loves her work.  She is happy to serve patients and their families.

She considers her co-workers a part of her family. When describing what it means to be a union member, she says, “It means a lot.  The union is a force of support – whenever we need help or have questions.”  Ms. Abreu appreciates her union benefits and feels that the union fights for us for proper wages.

When describing her family she talks about her mother Celina who “is always there for me” and her friends and co-workers.  In her spare time, Ms. Abreu enjoys reading.
