Mr. Figueroa became a member of Local 237 in 2009.  A solid union member, Mr. Figueroa has served as a shop steward. When he describes what it means to be a union member, he says, “The union protects the rights of the members, the benefits are great and he learned a lot while being a shop steward.

Mr. Figueroa is engaged to Zipporah – they have two children and he has a third child, as well. His mother is a school crossing guard and a member of DC 37.

When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with the family – going to amusement parks, playing video games and going to the movies. The Figueroa family originally hails from Puerto Rico.
