A member of Local 237 since 2008, Ms. Spaulding has been a shop steward for the past 10 years.  She enjoys representing and informing the members and being a union member is very important to her.

Originally from Jamaica, West Indies, she was active in the National Workers Union.

She works in District 18 in Brooklyn and oversees 6 schools. Ms. Spaulding takes great satisfaction from serving the students and seeing that they are enjoying their food.  

Outside of work she loves to cook, dance and enjoys music. The mother of two daughters, Janice Hoyte and Keisha Spaulding and grandmother to 4 grandchildren, she enjoys spending time with her family.
