Mr. Thomas became a member of Local 237 in 2012.  Jamel Thomas is dedicated to his job and loves being at work and being with his co-workers.

He said, “It feels excellent!” to be a union member and feels he has achieved something in life.  “It is a big deal to be a Teamster.  And, the benefits are amazing,” said Thomas. With the union behind him, Mr. Thomas feels a sense of stability and confidence.

In his time outside of work, he loves to be with his daughter – Jaymelline, six years old.  In his words, “she is the best thing that ever happened to me.”
