Local 237 Welfare Fund Prescription Drug Benefit For Active Full-Time Welfare Fund Participants
Aetna administers the Fund’s prescription drug benefits and maintains the pharmacy network. Everyone receives an identification card from Aetna. When filling a prescription at a retail pharmacy you will need to provide your Aetna ID card.

For those members who choose the cost-saving mail order program, your doctor can submit your prescriptions by using their e-prescribing service, by logging in to the provider portal on Availity.com, or via fax to 1-877-270-3317. The cover sheet should include your member ID number, birthdate and mailing address. Note: Only your doctor can fax a prescription. You can also complete an Aetna Mail Order Delivery form:

While the mail order program is voluntary, all members using “maintenance drugs” are encouraged to take advantage of the savings and convenience available through Aetna.

President Gregory Floyd and the Welfare Fund Trustees are pleased to provide an enhanced benefit for our Group Term Life Insurance. Effective May 1, 2020, member life insurance benefits have been increased to $15,000 per member and to $5,000 for a dependent child.
